Barry M. Loneck

Barry M. Loneck is Associate Professor at the University at Albany's School of Social Welfare. He holds a PhD from Case Western Reserve University's School of Applied Social Sciences.

His research develops statistical methodologies for analyzing psychotherapeutic process data, with additional expertise in substance use disorder treatment. He investigates engagement/retention strategies for addiction services and designs prevention protocols for at-risk adolescents.

Dr. Loneck maintains an active consultancy practice, assisting substance abuse treatment programs and prevention initiatives through evaluation and protocol development.
