Barry Irwin is an Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Notre Dame's Notre Dame Law School, where he has taught since 2012. He specializes in Patent Litigation and Advanced Copyright/Entertainment Law. With nearly 30 years of experience, he is a prominent intellectual property litigation attorney, having represented major corporations in high-stakes cases and founded Irwin IP, a boutique litigation firm.
Irwin holds a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and a J.D. magna cum laude from Notre Dame Law School. His expertise spans patent litigation, trademark enforcement, copyright law, and entertainment law. He has secured landmark verdicts and injunctions for clients and advises on IP portfolio strategy.
