Barclay Dahlstrom serves as Associate Dean for Hands On & Service Learning and instructor in the Faculty of Kinesiology and Health Studies at the University of Regina, where he has taught since 2012. His primary focus centers on integrating experiential and applied learning into academic programs, with specialized expertise in strength and conditioning and clinical exercise physiology instruction.
Dr. Dahlstrom's academic work emphasizes real-world skill development through hands-on experiences, directly connecting classroom theory to practical applications in health and fitness settings. His research interests form a cohesive framework around active pedagogy, prioritizing:
