Barbara Wyslouzil

Barbara Wyslouzil is a Professor at The Ohio State University, with joint appointments in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering and the Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry. Her research focuses on aerosol science, particularly particle formation from vapor phases, internal structure analysis, and structural transitions like crystallization.

Her Wyslouzil Aerosol Lab employs techniques such as supersonic nozzles, small-angle neutron scattering (SANS), small-angle X-ray scattering (SAXS), and infrared absorption spectroscopy to study nucleation rates, droplet composition, and phase transitions. Collaborations include Argonne National Laboratory (12ID experimental station).
