Barbara Vanderwerf

Barbara Vanderwerf is an Assistant Professor of Business at the Marshall E. Rinker, Sr. School of Business at Palm Beach Atlantic University. She joined PBA in 2006 as administrative staff, transitioned to adjunct professor in 2014, and became full-time faculty in 2015. Her teaching focuses on management, leadership and ethics, and financial literacy, with expertise in online course development.

Roles & Contributions: As inaugural Director of the Center for Financial Literacy, she leads initiatives to integrate financial education into academic programs. She also operates a private financial coaching business and facilitates community financial literacy classes.
