Barbara Henderson

Barbara Henderson is a Professor in the Department of Elementary Education and Director of the Educational Leadership Doctoral Program (EDDL) at San Francisco State University. She specializes in Early Childhood Education and teaches courses in qualitative and mixed-method research methodologies. Her research focuses on teacher research, self-study of teacher education practices, and participatory action research. She has evaluated teacher preparation programs and co-authored influential books on early childhood education.
