Barbara Dallap Schaer

Barbara Dallap Schaer is a Professor of Emergency Medicine and Critical Care at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. She serves as Associate Dean for Clinical Education and Operations at New Bolton Center and as Hospital Director of New Bolton Center Hospital, one of the largest academic large animal hospitals in the U.S. Her research focuses on hospital-acquired Salmonella infections and coagulation disorders in critically ill equine patients.
