Barbara Bashaw is the Arnhold Professor of Practice in Dance Education at Teachers College, Columbia University. She serves as EdD Dance Education Program Director and Executive Director of the Arnhold Institute for Dance Education Research, Policy & Leadership. Her work focuses on marginalized voices in dance education, child development, and embodied cognition. She holds an EdD from Teachers College, specializing in art education with a dance-centered dissertation.
