Barbara Applebaum is a Professor in the Department of Cultural Foundations of Education at Syracuse University's School of Education. She specializes in social justice pedagogy, white complicity, and moral education. Her research focuses on addressing systemic inequities in education through critical whiteness studies and epistemic justice frameworks.
