Barak Zemer is a Senior Lecturer at Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles. He holds an MFA from the USC Roski School of Fine Arts and a BFA from the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem. Zemer is a contemporary photographer whose work explores themes of identity, social conditions, and the interplay between stasis and motion, often framed through unexpected compositions and minimal post-production.

He has received critical acclaim for projects such as Three Eyes (2017) and Mouse (2016), with reviews highlighting his rejection of ironic trends in favor of sincerity and sensitivity. Zemer's practice spans photography, installation, and collaborative projects like Sealed and Punctured (with L. DeMagalhaes) and I Got You Under My Sink (with R. Shneior).
