Balázs Kovács is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Management Science, Faculty of Economics, University of Pécs. He teaches methodological courses in mathematics and IT for economics students.

His research focuses on data mining, text mining, and machine learning applications in financial economics, particularly foreign exchange rate modeling and market behavior analysis. Recent publications highlight algorithmic trading, cluster analysis, and sentiment analysis of product reviews.
