Baldwin Van Gorp is a full professor at the Faculty of Social Sciences, KU Leuven, and head of the Lab for Media, Information & Influence (OG). He is also a member of the Ethics @ KU Leuven, Leuven Centre for the Study of Islamic Culture and Society, and Leuven One Health Institute. His work bridges academia and creative practice through arts-based methods, including participation in the Stripgids Academie in Turnhout, where he honed skills for his ongoing graphic novel project.
