Bailey Kacsmar is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computing Science at the University of Alberta and an Alberta Machine Intelligence Institute (Amii) Fellow. Her research focuses on developing human-centered privacy solutions, combining technical privacy mechanisms (e.g., private machine learning, secure computation) with user perception studies and usability evaluations. She holds a PhD and MMath in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo.
