Bai Yang is a Professor in the Department of Physics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison since 2021. Previously, he held positions as Associate Professor (2017–2021) and Assistant Professor (2012–2017) at the same institution. His research focuses on theoretical particle physics, including dark matter, cosmic rays, gravitational waves, and early universe phenomena. Yang earned his Ph.D. from Yale University (2007) and a B.S. from the University of Science and Technology of China (2002). Prior to his academic roles, he worked as a Research Associate at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory (2010–2012) and Fermilab National Accelerator Laboratory (2007–2010).
