Ann Wang serves as a KIPAC Fellow at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, operated by Stanford University for the U.S. Department of Energy Office of Science. KIPAC (Kavli Institute for Particle Astrophysics and Cosmology) represents a joint venture between SLAC and Stanford University focused on fundamental cosmic research.
Her research spans Particle Astrophysics and Cosmology, with specific emphasis on dark matter detection, cosmic microwave background analysis, and high-energy astrophysical phenomena. This work integrates particle physics methodologies with observational cosmology to address foundational questions about the universe's composition and evolution.
As a KIPAC Fellow, Dr. Wang operates within SLAC's collaborative research ecosystem that leverages both theoretical modeling and experimental facilities, including access to particle accelerators and space-based observatories for multi-messenger astrophysics investigations.
