B. Mark Evers is a Professor of Surgery at the University of Kentucky, serving as the Director of the Markey Cancer Center and Mark McDowell Cancer Foundation Chair. He specializes in gastrointestinal surgery and oncology, with a focus on cancer biology and metabolic disorders. Dr. Evers holds the prestigious Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) distinction.
