Azlina Amir Kassim is a Lecturer and College Internationalisation Lead at Bangor University’s School of Psychology & Sport Science. A clinical psychologist by training, she researches mental health interventions for youth and teaches clinical psychology and research methods.

Research Interests: Azlina focuses on mental health literacy, stigma reduction, and community-based interventions for children/adolescents. Her work emphasizes cultural contexts in South Asia and promotes accessible care frameworks.
Publications: Co-authored a scoping review on community mental health interventions in South Asia, highlighting gaps in culturally adaptive strategies for youth.
Teaching: Supervises undergraduate/postgraduate research on mental health stigma and literacy. Modules: Clinical Psychology and Research Methods.
