Azar Mohammad Abadi Kamarei

Azar Mohammad Abadi Kamarei is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Environmental Health Sciences at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) School of Public Health. She also holds an appointment as Associate Scientist at UAB's O'Neal Comprehensive Cancer Center. Her work bridges climatology/meteorology and environmental epidemiology to study climate-related health impacts. Dr. Abadi earned her PhD in Meteorology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (2018), MSc in Meteorology from the University of Tehran (2011), and BSc in Physics from Kharazmi University (2008).
