Dr. Azad Hossain is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biology, Geology, and Environmental Science at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC), part of the College of Arts & Sciences. His expertise lies in environmental geosciences, with a focus on geospatial technologies including GIS, remote sensing, and spatial analysis. He has been actively involved in research and education since joining UTC, contributing to numerous grants and publications. Dr. Hossain's work integrates numerical modeling with geospatial data to study environmental challenges such as water quality, urbanization impacts, and landslide prediction.
