Prof. Ayşe Melda SUR is Head of Private Law at İzmir University of Economics Faculty of Law. She holds a PhD from Ankara University and undergraduate degree from Strasbourg University.
Her research specializes in labor law, social security law, and international legal frameworks. She has extensive experience in comparative labor law and has served as visiting professor at Bordeaux University.
Publications examine trade union rights, gender equality in employment, and international labor standards. She serves on the scientific board of the Revue de Droit comparé du travail et de la sécurité sociale.
Supervised over 15 PhD candidates and numerous graduate students in law. Teaches courses in Labor Law, International Law, and Thesis Supervision across undergraduate and graduate programs.
