Ayoade Onireti

Dr Ayoade Onireti serves as a Senior Lecturer and LLM Programme Lead within the School of Law at the University of Bolton. His academic career includes prior teaching positions at the University of Central Lancashire and the University of Salford. Professionally, he maintains active legal practice as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, with experience in both public and private sectors across Nigeria and the UK, including practice at DWF Solicitors Manchester.

His doctoral research was completed at the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan), where he earned a PhD in International Law and Human Rights, establishing his scholarly foundation in human rights jurisprudence.

Dr Onireti's research spans critical legal disciplines with particular emphasis on human rights implementation in African contexts. Key focus areas include:
