Axelle Germanaz is a Researcher at the Department of English and American Studies at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg. Her work focuses on the intersections of the US Far Right, White Supremacy, Populism, and Political Extremism, with a specialization in Theories of Race and Racism, Affect Studies, and Environmental Humanities.

Her research explores White Supremacy, Political Extremism, and the Environmental Imaginary within the US White Power Movement. She is a member of The Global Sentimentality Project and has presented at conferences on topics such as American Mythology, Borderlands, and Digital Propaganda. Her recent projects analyze the mythological narratives and cultural spaces of extremist ideologies.
