Axel Hoffmann

Axel Hoffmann is a Professor of Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he has been since 2019. His research focuses on magnetism, spin transport, magnetic heterostructures, and quantum materials. He has published extensively on topics including skyrmions, spin-orbit torques, and magnonics.
