Axel Cleeremans

Axel Cleeremans is a Professor of Cognitive Psychology at the Université Libre de Bruxelles and a Research Director at the Fonds de la Recherche Scientifique (F.R.S.-FNRS). He leads the Consciousness, Cognition and Computation Group (CO3) and the Center for Research in Cognition & Neurosciences. His work focuses on understanding how consciousness arises from unconscious learning mechanisms, encapsulated in the Radical Plasticity Thesis.
