Avril Langard-Tang is a Lecturer and Module Leader in Deaf Studies and Interpreting at the University of Wolverhampton's School of Social, Historical and Political Studies. A native BSL user raised in a Deaf family, she bridges her deep cultural identity with over two decades of teaching experience in further and higher education. Her work focuses on enhancing institutional accessibility for the Deaf community through BSL training and curriculum development.
