Avinash Bhakta, MD is an Associate Professor in the Department of Surgery at University of Kentucky, with additional appointments as a Member of the Markey Cancer Center / Cancer Research Priority Initiative and the Translational Oncology Research Program.
Dr. Bhakta completed his medical education at University of Nevada (MD, 2010; BS, 2006) and completed his residency at Albany Medical Center, Albany, NY (2015).
His research focuses on several key areas in surgical oncology and healthcare delivery:
