Avigyan Sengupta serves as a Visiting Assistant Professor in Economics at the Else School of Management, Millsaps College. He earned his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2024, focusing on aging, marital stability, and mental health in his dissertation.
- Research Interests: Labor economics, family economics, health economics, household wealth dynamics, and economic implications of ADHD.
- Teaching: Courses in microeconomics, macroeconomics, and econometrics. Recognized with the William L. Holahan Prize for Outstanding Teaching.
- Skills: Multilingual fluency in Bengali, English, and Hindi; brings multicultural perspectives to research and teaching.
