Ava Kanyeredzi

Dr Ava Kanyeredzi is a Senior Lecturer (Digital Education) at Queen Mary University of London, based in the Unit for Psychological Medicine within the Wolfson Institute of Population Health. She serves as Digital Education Lead, focusing on democratizing learning environments through student-centered approaches. Her roles include Programme Director for the online MSc Mental Health: Psychological Therapies and teaching across both online and onsite formats.

Research Interests:

• Intersectional studies of violence, abuse, and mental distress
• Feminist, critical, and community psychology methodologies
• Qualitative/participatory/action research with marginalized communities
• Domestic abuse responses within faith communities
• Psychiatric space experiences and service evaluations
