Austin E. Quigley is a distinguished academic and former Dean of Columbia College at Columbia University, holding the title of Brander Matthews Professor of Dramatic Literature. He has taught at institutions including the University of Virginia, Nottingham, Geneva, Konstanz, and Massachusetts. His research focuses on 19th to 21st century drama, literary theory, and modernism/postmodernism in theatre.
