Austin D. Hestdalen is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Communication and Creative Arts at Purdue University Northwest. His research explores ethical implications of smart technologies in urban public spheres, focusing on crisis response frameworks and posthuman urban dynamics.
Education includes a Ph.D. in Rhetoric from Duquesne University, an M.A. in Rhetoric & Philosophy from Duquesne University, and a B.A. in Communication from St. Edward’s University.
