Aum Pathare, MD is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health at Penn State University's College of Medicine, specializing in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry. He focuses on catatonia, behavioral neurology, and psychosomatic medicine. His research explores motor and behavioral phenomena in neuropsychiatric disorders, with emphasis on diagnosis and treatment paradigms.
Education includes an MBBS from Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College (2009), General Psychiatry residency at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center (2015), and a Fellowship in Psychosomatic Medicine at Yale University (2016).
