Auguste Petre (b. 1993) is a Lecturer at the Art Academy of Latvia (LMA) since 2021, co-founder and director of ASNI Gallery, and a curator specializing in contemporary art. She holds a master's degree in Art History and Curatorial Studies from the Art Academy of Latvia and is currently pursuing a doctoral degree.

Research Interests: Focuses on new materiality and expressions of Baltic artists from the 1990s generation. Her curatorial work bridges academic research with practical implementation of exhibitions and cultural projects.
Notable Projects: Directed award-nominated exhibitions including MAREUNROL'S "Fieldwork: Invisible exercises" and Katrīna Neiburga's "Sologāmija" (Purvītis Prize 2025 nominees).
Professional Contributions: Since 2017, she has worked as an art journalist for Latvian and international media. In 2023, she curated the contemporary art collection for SEB Global Services.
