معرفی
Audun Formo Buene is an Associate Professor at the Department of Chemistry, Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). His research focuses on organic energy materials, particularly dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSC) and cross-country ski friction mechanics. He holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry from NTNU (2019) and has extensive postdoctoral experience at NTNU and Nankai University.
- Education: PhD (2019), MSc (2015), BSc (implied)
Research interests include organic synthesis for photovoltaic applications, tribology of winter sports equipment, and catalyst development for electrochemistry. He teaches courses in organic chemistry (TKJ4102, TKJ4520) and thermodynamics (IMAK2001, IMAK1004).
His recent work combines material science with sports engineering, notably investigating fluorine-free ski lubricants and optimizing ski base materials for reduced friction. Collaborations with Alex Klein-Paste and David Moe Almenningen highlight his interdisciplinary approach.
Supervised 6 students (4 current, 2 former) in MSc/PhD projects related to solar cell dyes and ski tribology. Active in conferences like the International Congress on Science and Skiing.
