Audrey Wong

Audrey Wong is a Programme Leader for the MA Arts and Cultural Leadership at LASALLE College of the Arts. A cultural policy expert and civil society advocate, she previously served as an Nominated Member of Parliament (2009–2011) focusing on freelance artists' rights. She has held adjunct lecturer roles at LASALLE (2006–2009) and the National University of Singapore (2001–2003), teaching arts management.

Her education includes an MA in Arts Administration from Goldsmiths College, University of London, and MAs/BA in English Literature from the National University of Singapore.

Her research focuses on cultural governance in Singapore, challenges faced by non-profit arts organizations, and creative industries in Southeast Asia. She co-founded Magdalena (Singapore), a network for women theatre practitioners, and co-directed The Substation (2000–2010), an independent art space.

Awarded the National Arts Council Cultural Fellowship (2013), she has contributed to policy reviews and serves on boards like the Singapore Art Museum and National Arts Council. Her work emphasizes cross-disciplinary collaboration, audience development, and nurturing emerging artists.
