معرفی
Dr. Audrey Adji is a Conjoint Senior Lecturer at the University of New South Wales' School of Clinical Medicine, with additional affiliations at the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute (since 2019) and St Vincent's Centre for Applied Medical Research (since 2021). Her research employs hemodynamic principles to investigate cardiovascular aging, hypertension, valvular diseases, mechanical circulatory support, and their impacts on cerebral circulation.
Education:
- PhD in Biomedical Engineering (Part-time, 2007-2016) - Macquarie University
- Graduate Certificate in Statistics (2004-2006) - University of Newcastle
- Master of Biomedical Engineering (1999-2001) - University of New South Wales
- Bachelor of Medicine (1992-1997) - Universitas Atmajaya, Indonesia
Her research integrates medicine and engineering to characterize changes in cardiac ejection patterns, arterial pulsatile function, and vascular-cardiovascular interactions in aging and disease states. Current projects focus on pulsatile load quantification in valve disease, vascular phenotyping in metabolic syndrome, and hemodynamic monitoring innovations. Publications emphasize hemodynamic modeling, ventricular-vascular interactions, and clinical applications in aortic stenosis, pulmonary hypertension, and mechanical circulatory support.
She actively contributes to the Australian Hypertension Taskforce, chairs the Pulse of Asia Early Career Research Network, and leads diversity initiatives through Hypertension Australia's Women in Hypertension Committee.
