Aubrey H. Wang

Aubrey H. Wang is a Professor of Educational Leadership and Interim Director of the Office of Teaching and Learning at Saint Joseph’s University, where she has held leadership roles since 2007. Her work focuses on intersectionality in educational leadership, professional development, and bridging research-practice gaps to amplify marginalized voices.

Her research emphasizes active learning strategies and social justice education, particularly in urban settings. Her recent Google Scholar publications highlight themes like social justice for preservice teachers and culturally responsive executive function research.

Wang has received multiple scientific awards, including the Patricia Leahy Award for Learning Innovations and the Ethel and Allen "Buddy" Carruth Sustained Leadership in Education Award. Her grants include funding from the American Educational Research Association and internal Saint Joseph’s University grants totaling over $50,000.

She has advised numerous graduate researchers and served on boards like Young Scholars Charter School and the Scholar-Practitioner Research Collaborative. Her 20+ years of experience span policy analysis, STEM education reform, and cognitive development research.
