Attila Szantner

Attila Szantner is the CEO and co-founder of Massively Multiplayer Online Science (MMOS) and an Adjunct Professor at the School of Computer Science at McGill University. He pioneers innovative collaborations between AAA game developers and citizen science initiatives, such as Borderlands Science (with Gearbox Software) and Project Discovery in EVE Online (with CCP Games).

Research Interests:

These projects have engaged over 5.5 million players in solving 700+ million scientific puzzles, advancing data science and public participation in research. His work has been featured in documentaries and widely covered by media including the New Yorker and Nature Biotechnology.
