Atsushi SHIHO is a Professor at the Graduate School of Mathematical Sciences, University of Tokyo, specializing in Arithmetic Geometry. His research focuses on p-adic cohomologies, p-adic fundamental groups, and p-adic differential equations over (log) algebraic varieties in positive characteristic.
His publications include foundational work on crystalline cohomology, such as the two-part series on crystalline fundamental groups, as well as studies on isocrystals and Chern classes. His research bridges algebraic geometry and number theory through advanced p-adic methods.
