Prof. Dr. Atilla TAŞKIN is a distinguished Professor in the Department of Animal Science at Kirşehir Ahi Evran University's Faculty of Agriculture, where he has been serving since 2011, achieving the rank of full Professor in 2024. His academic career spans multiple institutions including Mustafa Kemal University and Harran University. Beyond his primary faculty position, he holds significant administrative roles as Institute Director since 2018 and Faculty Board Member since 2016.
Dr. TAŞKIN's research interests focus primarily on Poultry Breeding and Improvement, with special emphasis on Animal Behavior and Welfare. His work explores critical aspects of avian reproduction, environmental enrichment techniques, semen cryopreservation methods, and poultry genetics. His research has significantly contributed to understanding quail, turkey, and duck production systems, with particular attention to improving hatchability, egg quality, and animal welfare in commercial and experimental settings.
