Atika Khurana

Atika Khurana is an Associate Professor in the Counseling Psychology and Human Services Department at the University of Oregon's College of Education, and a Research Scientist at the Prevention Science Institute. Her work focuses on developmental-ecological approaches to adolescent risk-taking behaviors.

Recent publications analyze adolescent risk behaviors through the lens of media exposure, peer influences, and neurocognitive development, employing advanced statistical methods like latent variable modeling and multi-level analysis. Her work has been funded by NIDA, NICHD, and IES.
