Atieh Moridi

Atieh Moridi is Assistant Professor and Aref and Manon Lahham Faculty Fellow in Cornell's Sibley School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. She directs research on advanced manufacturing techniques for high-performance materials, particularly metal additive processes for biomedical and extreme-environment applications.

Research combines synchrotron characterization with novel processing methods to develop degradable implants and refractory composites. Recent NSF-funded projects focus on in-situ reactive printing and porous structure fabrication.

Leads the Laboratory for Advanced Materials and Manufacturing (LAMM) with NSF and DoD grants exceeding $3M.
