Athanasios Vozikis is a Professor at the Department of Economics of the University of Piraeus, specializing in Health Economics and Information Systems. He serves as Director of the Laboratory of Health Economics and Administration at the University of Piraeus and has held significant positions including President of the Negotiating Committee of EOPYY and member of the National Council of Public Health. His academic career spans teaching and research in health economics, health information systems, and health policy analysis.
Vozikis holds a PhD from the University of Piraeus in Health Economics and Information Systems, a Master's degree (M.Sc.) from the University of Athens in Health Informatics, and graduated from the Department of Public Administration of Panteion University.
