Atanu Maity

Dr. Atanu Maity is a Research Fellow in Theoretical Physics I at Julius-Maximilians-University Würzburg, Germany. His research focuses on quantum spin liquids, topological phases of matter, and frustrated magnetism. He is affiliated with the AG Thomale research group, specializing in theoretical frameworks for lattice models and many-body systems.

Research Interests: Maity explores novel states of matter such as Dirac spin liquids, chiral spin liquids, and quantum paramagnetic phases in geometrically frustrated lattices. His work combines analytical methods like fermionic parton theory and projective symmetry groups with numerical simulations to study quantum many-body systems in hyperbolic and Euclidean geometries.
