Atakan Sahin

Dr. Atakan Sahin is a researcher at Robert Gordon University's School of Computing, Engineering & Technology, affiliated with the Complex Optimisation Research Group. His work focuses on computational approaches to energy system optimization and industrial process control.

His educational background includes a PhD in Pure and Applied Chemistry from University of Strathclyde (2016-2020), an MSc in Control and Automation Engineering from Istanbul Teknik Üniversitesi (2014-2016), and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from the same institution (2009-2014). His doctoral research addressed monitoring complex nonstationary industrial processes.
