Astrid Bracher

Prof. Astrid Bracher is a Senior Scientist and Professor of Environmental Physics at the University of Bremen, affiliated with the Alfred Wegener Institute (AWI). She leads the PHYTOOPTICS Group and serves as Deputy Head of the Climate Sciences Division. Her research focuses on marine primary production, phytoplankton functional types, ocean optics, and remote sensing applications.
