Asmin Tulpule, MD, PhD, is a Physician-scientist at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC), leading the Tulpule Lab within the Human Oncology & Pathogenesis Program (HOPP) and Department of Pediatrics. Their research focuses on biomolecular condensates and their roles in cancer, including RTK fusion oncoproteins forming pathogenic granules and FET fusion proteins disrupting DNA repair networks. Tulpule holds an MD from Harvard Medical School and a PhD from Harvard University.
Education:
- MD, Harvard Medical School
- PhD, Harvard University
Research Interests:
- Membraneless condensates in oncogenic signaling
- Targeting synthetic lethality vulnerabilities
- Cancer metabolism and PTEN-deficient pathways
- Stem cell models of genetic disorders
Awards:
- NCI Career Development Award K08 (2023–2028)
- Hyundai Hope on Wheels Young Investigator Award (2023-2025)
