Asif Dowla

Asif Dowla is a Professor of Economics and the Landers Endowed Chair in the Liberal Arts at St. Mary's College of Maryland. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Southern Methodist University (1986) and has earned prestigious awards including the Gul Meher Gold Medal and the Homer L. Dodge Award for Excellence in Teaching (2008). His teaching specializations include
