Asia Leeds is a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the African Diaspora and the World Program at Spelman College. She previously held a Dean’s Social Science in Practice Postdoctoral Fellowship (2010-2012) at UCLA, jointly affiliated with African American Studies and History. Her research focuses on intersections of gender, Pan-Africanism, and migration in Afro-Latin America.
