His research mission focuses on developing human-relevant organ mimic platforms for drug discovery, disease modeling, mechanistic studies, and stem cell evaluation. The Physiomimetic Microsystems Lab (Agarwal Lab) pioneers Organ on Chip technology to create precision treatment frameworks through microsystems engineering.
Dr. Agarwal's laboratory work bridges engineering and biomedical sciences to replicate human organ functions, enabling accelerated therapeutic development for complex diseases in cancer and urology research contexts.
