Ashlynn Messmore

Ashlynn Messmore is a Clinical Assistant Professor and Genetic Counselor in the Department of Genetics at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. She holds a BA in Human Biology and Society from UCLA (2014) and an MS in Genetic Counseling from UC Irvine (2016). Certified by the American Board of Genetic Counseling since 2016, she joined UNC as a Clinical Instructor in 2017 and was promoted to Clinical Assistant Professor in February 2020.
